Christine CHAN CHIU is a director at art-partners and brings a diverse array of professional experiences to the firm. Having worked in the auction house, gallery, and non-profit fields, she is an art industry professional with over 20 years of experience, uniquely informed about the workings of the international art world.

At the start of her career, Christine held positions at auction houses in New York and Hong Kong, where she trained as a specialist in the Chinese art department. Her focus on classical art was furthered by experiences working in antiquities. At the launch of the Hong Kong Art Gallery Association in 2012 where she was General Manager, she played a key role in supporting the advancement of the local art gallery community by connecting artists, galleries, and institutions, and by spearheading community outreach as well as corporate social responsibility programs. In particular, she helped inaugurate the Hong Kong Art Gallery Week initiative, and the annual Symposium at the Asia Society.

Christine co-founded AARRTT in 2020, a unique Parisian-Hong Kong art platform specializing in curated content, focussing on must-see art events and gallery-hopping art guides layered with educational modules with valuable insights. As a consultant, Christine has worked with clients to manage as well as create curatorial value for private and corporate collections and projects, with works ranging from paintings and sculpture to digital art and NFTs.

Christine holds a BA in History of Art and French from Tufts University, including École du Louvre and La Sorbonne. She completed her MA in History of Art and Archaeology at SOAS, University of London. With her academic background and expertise in modern and contemporary art, she is furthermore an art historian and critic whose writings can be found in art publications.
