Christine CHAN CHIU is managing partner at art-partners and brings a diverse array of professional experiences to the firm. Having worked in the auction house, gallery, and non-profit sectors, Christine is uniquely informed about the workings of the international art industry.

Christine has held positions at auction houses in New York and Hong Kong, where her focus was on Chinese antiquities and classical works of art. She was General Manager at the Hong Kong Art Gallery Association, where she played a key role in supporting the advancement of the local artist and art gallery community, and in spearheading corporate social responsibility as well as community outreach programs. She also helped inaugurate the Hong Kong Art Gallery Week initiative, and the annual Art Symposium at the Asia Society.

Christine has worked with clients to manage as well as create curatorial value for private and corporate collections and projects, with works ranging from paintings and sculpture to digital art and NFTs. She co-founded AARRTT in 2020, a unique platform specializing in curated art content, focussing on must-see events and art guides layered with educational modules with valuable insights. 

Christine holds a BA in History of Art and French from Tufts University. She completed her MA in History of Art and Archaeology at SOAS, University of London. With her academic background and expertise in modern and contemporary art, she is an art historian and critic who writes for art publications, and who serves on committees and expert panels for art prizes.
