Christine Chan Chiu is a Managing Partner of Art-Partners.

With a career spanning leading roles at an auction house, art gallery, and in the non-profit sector, Christine is uniquely informed about the workings of the art industry, bringing her diverse range of professional experiences to the consultancy.  

She has held positions at auction houses in New York and Hong Kong, where she trained as a specialist in the Chinese works of art department. She was the General Manager at the Hong Kong Art Gallery Association, where she played a key role in supporting the advancement of the local art community by connecting artists, galleries, and institutions, and by spearheading community outreach as well as corporate social responsibility programmes. In particular, she helped inaugurate the Hong Kong Art Gallery Week initiative, and the annual Symposium at the Asia Society. In addition to her role at Art-Partners, she co-founded art advisory and media platform AARRTT in 2020 to build cultural partnerships between Hong Kong and Paris.

Her expertise in modern and contemporary art has led her to become an art historian and critic who contributes to art publications including ArtAsiaPacific and Artomity, and serves on committees and expert panels for art industry awards. She is an Expert Panellist for the Julius Baer Next Generation Art Prize, and Jury for the Société Générale 'Call for Artists' Contemporary Art Collection.
