Art Partners is proud to be the Consultant and Project Manager for the the return of its “Art in Resonance” programme by the Peninsula Hotels, opening during Hong Kong Art Week 2024. Art-Partners is delighted to be managing the art installation of a collection of newly commissioned artworks and the reconfiguration of pieces from The Peninsula’s collection at the group’s iconic Hong Kong flagship property.
From March to May 2024, visitors to The Peninsula Hong Kong can discover an inspiring collection of artworks in various locations. Local artist Kingsley Ng’s monumental kinetic sculpture Esmeralda floats over the hotel’s iconic façade. In the hotel lobby lies SOLI, a large-scale sculpture made with four thousand crushed CDs by French artist Elise Morin. A newly commissioned piece by American artist Lachlan Turczan named Harmonic Resonance was on display on the first floor – a mirrored pool of water that shows patterns created by choreographed infrasonic tones. Lastly, Visionary Reality Portal, a kaleidoscopic and multisensory video installation by artist Saya Woolfalk, was housed in a purpose-built room off street level and open to the public.
