As the art consultants for the project, Levina Li and Sarah Pringle, Directors of Art-Partners invited Royal Academy to partner with Peninsula hotel to launch "Love Art at The Peninsula" programme, managed the art installation and assisted the outreach programme which included school tours and private and public talks.
The ADA Project by Conrad Shawcross RA, was the second instalment in the Peninsula Hotel’s ongoing collaboration with the Royal Academy of Art titled ‘Love Art at The Peninsula’. Timed to coincide with Art Basel, the installation and series of performances were held in the iconic lobby of the hotel from March to April 2016. The ambitious project combined sculpture, robotics and music to create a dramatic visual performance, comprised of a series of collaborations between Shawcross and leading contemporary composers.
