Harbour Arts Sculpture Park is Art-Partners’ largest, most ambitious project undertaken to date. Art-Partners was offered the use of park by the government and was responsible for looking for the project presenter, partners and sponsors, liaising with galleries, managing installation and fundraising.
Harbour Arts Sculpture Park is Hong Kong’s first international sculpture park on the city’s iconic harbourfront. A museum without walls, this project features sculptures by emerging and renowned local and international artists, free to the public. Curated by Tim Marlow (Artistic Director at the Royal Academy of Arts) and Fumio Nanjo (Director of Mori Art Museum and Director of International Programme at Hong Kong Art School), Harbour Arts Sculpture Park dramatically transforms the landscape along the Central and Western District Promenade, offering a unique opportunity to experience world-class art set against the backdrop of Hong Kong’s iconic skyline. Cementing Hong Kong’s position as a global arts player, the sculpture park is accompanied by a diverse and extensive programme of workshops and educational activities, demonstrating that art is for all ages and interests.
Harbour Arts Sculpture Park is presented by the Hong Kong Arts Centre with Lead Education Partner The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, Lead Partner H Queen’s by Henderson Development Limited and supported by Hong Kong Arts Development Council.
