Vita WONG-KWOK is a seasoned communication and art professional specializing in luxury retail and art industry. Educated in Paris (MBA ESSEC) and HK (BABS), Vita has 20 years of solid experience as senior executive at LVMH group. She was first the regional Marketing Director for Champagne Veuve Clicquot, she then joined Louis Vuitton in 2002 as the Regional Vice President of Communications for Asia Pacific managing all PR, advertising, events, CRM, digital and cultural projects for the region. Vita was the project leader for the famous LV 150th Anniversary event at Tamar in 2004 and the “Passion for Creation” Contemporary Art Exhibition at the Hong Kong Museum of Art in 2009 and talk-of-the-town parties and events in Asia-Pacific.
Later in 2010, she continued to add value to the brand’s sophisticated image and awareness by establishing the Cultural Development Department and act as the Regional Vice President. She developed and managed all the cultural art spaces and cultural projects in Asia. Over the past few years, she had successfully launched more than 50 different art exhibitions in the Louis Vuitton Cultural Espace in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Macau working with both international and Asian artists, designers & cultural leaders. She also developed art talks, book talks and outreach programs in the region. On the corporate level, she was also involved in various brand collaborations with important artists. Apart from recommending artworks to be collected by LV head office, she facilitated the strategic selection or commission of artworks for LV stores in Asia-Pacific.
Over the years, Vita has established strong relationships with international brands, retail, local, regional and international artists, creative leaders, art institutes, patrons, performers, entertainers and production houses, trend setters and media.
Vita heads the art consulting department of Madison Asia Limited after leaving Louis Vuitton. She has been appointed as the Communication Consultant for the Fondation Louis Vuitton Paris (the new Art Museum by LVMH). Apart from continuing to consult for LV China on art collaboration programs, she also consults for various corporations.
She is the co-founder of Art-Partners together with Levina Li-Cadman and Sarah Pringle in conceptualizing, developing and realizing place-making public art and culture projects from Hong Kong across Asia.
On the side of NGO, Vita is the trustee & nominator for the established Sovereign Art Foundation.
